Connect ALMA to your AI

Ask Claude or ChatGPT about your family memories, or tell it a story and it saves it in your tree. You only sign in with your ALMA account.

In Claude

  1. Open Claude (web, desktop or mobile) and go to Settings → Connectors.
  2. Search for ALMA. If it does not appear yet, choose “Add custom connector” and paste the connector URL.
  3. Press Connect and sign in with your ALMA account. That is all: no keys or codes.

In ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT and go to Settings → Apps.
  2. Search for ALMA and press Connect.
  3. Sign in with your ALMA account and accept. From then on, mention ALMA in any chat.

What it can do

Read
  • See your trees: yours and those of relatives you look after.
  • See the branches (chapters) of a tree and how many memories each one has.
  • Search your memories by words in the title or the story.
Write
  • Create a new branch in a tree.
  • Save a new memory, with its date and branch.
  • It cannot delete or edit anything that already exists.

  • What memories do I have from my grandmother?
  • Save that my father taught me to swim in the river in 1998
  • Create a branch called Travels

Privacy and safety

  • The assistant only sees what you can see in ALMA, and only while it is connected.
  • Your private branches and memories follow the same rules as in the app.
  • ALMA does not use your memories to train any model.

Disconnect

Remove ALMA from your assistant’s connectors, or end the connection from the ALMA app in Profile → Connect with AI. Access stops at once.
